Last day at VA. We had our last day at the VA on Wed. We missed a day during the semester and made it up today. It went very well. My patient had moderte calculus with little bleeding and slight plaque. I really foucused on getting interproximally. I also took a pano. We put a ball bearing in so the xray could show the exact dimension for where they were going to place an implant. I did not miss any spots and felt great about that appointment.

End of semester. This is the last week of the 3rd semester in school! I can't believe how fast time has gone and how much I have learned. I only have one semester left before I graduate, very crazy. The school work load was not too bad this semester. As I look back over my clinical experience the one thing I need to work on is always going deep enough when I scale. If they are sensitive then I need to get some oraqix or do something instead of just avoiding going deeper. Tomorrow I have the VA as a make up day and I am going to really focus on this. I hope we get to give some injections too!
