4-25-07 Today my patient did not show up and I was scheduled all day, but then I called my afternoon and they came in early. He was a class two and I finished him up. I had a hard time because he did not want to get numb so he couldn't tolerate to much of the ultra sonic. Then hand scaling was difficult on the lower anteriors. The instructor watched me and helped tell me what I can in improve on. It was really helpful. I need to remember to roll my instrument and go deeper sub gingivally. He was the last of my requirements so I can breath a sigh of relief!

4-09-07 Today I saw a pt and cleaned one quad that was classified as a 3. It was my first time having a pt be anesthetized and the first time using my gracey instruments. It was quite the experience. I'm very glad that they were numb because they had a lot of subgingival calculus. I missed almost every interproximal space possible. So I went back and fixed most of it. It was a really good learning experience because now I know what to feel for and to feel before I scale the area, I also spent more time exploring after I scaled an area. I think it will be very important for me to remember this in the future. Hopefully i get better because today I had a slice of humble pie!

4-04-07 Todat I did my class 1b exam. It went really well. I only missed one area! I did it in good time, but I need to get a little faster at scaling. I also did a pano and that went well. My patient was really good. Today was a good day!
4-02-07 Today my patient did not show up! I was a little frustrated because I could not find anyone, but I ended up getting someone who was in the waiting room. She turned out to be the classification that I needed! so it was actually better that my patient did not show up. She was 2 quads class 2 and 2 quads class three. I did the od and that was all that I got to because I started an hour late
